Intergovernmental Agreements (Contracted Areas)

Whiteside County Animal Control has entered into fourteen (14) intergovernmental agreements. Depending on the municipality or township’s specific needs, animal control services vary. The contracts are reviewed on an annual basis. The following areas of Whiteside County have joined with Animal Control to aid in enforcing their leash law ordinances;

All contracts start at 8am and end at 4pm Monday through Friday. If Animal Control is off duty, please contact your local police department. For Coloma, Hopkins and Montmorency Townships, the township supervisors require that the complainant contact them for any before or after hour calls.
