For Dog Owners who did NOT receive a Whiteside County tag at time of rabies vaccination,  you must provide a copy of the ‘Rabies Vaccination Certificate’ or contact the veterinarian who administered the rabies vaccine and have the certificate forwarded as required by State Law. Then, follow the instructions below to finish bringing your dog(s) into compliance.

If your dog has been vaccinated against rabies for 1 year, a $15 registration fee is due. You must add a state differential fee if your dog has not been altered (spayed or neutered). If these fees are not paid within 30 days from the date of rabies vaccination, you must also add a $20 late fee.

If your dog has been vaccinated against rabies for 3 years, you have the option to pay $15 for each year or $40 for the full three year registration. You must add a state differential fee of $15per year if your dog has not been altered (spayed or neutered). If these fees are not paid within30 days from the date of rabies vaccination, you must also add a $20 late fee.
