Mission Statement: To provide primary and preventative medical, dental and behavioral health care across the region. To openly receive individuals from all life cycles, with dignity and respect in a caring environment.

Whiteside County Community Health Clinic's goal is to provide quality health care to all citizens of Whiteside County. We believe income or lack of insurance should not be a hindrance to receive superior healthcare; providing individuals with low income the opportunity to receive health care at a cost based on income and family size.

The Community Health Clinic services are available to anyone, regardless of where they live. Non-residents of Whiteside County are welcome to our services as well.

Services

Medical Clinic

• Provides primary and preventative health care staffed by a physician, family nurse practitioner, and pediatric nurse practitioner.

Dental Clinic

• Provides preventative and restorative basic dentistry treatment for low income individuals.

• In Fiscal Year 2005, the clinic did 6000 visits, up 1600 from the previous year.

• The Dental Clinic has five Dentists and seven Dental Assistants and two dental hygienists.

Behavioral Health

• Staff provides support services to persons experiencing problems related to emotional and mental illness, or refers out to other local agencies for drug and alcohol addiction.

Family Planning

• Provides reproductive health, birth control, STD outreach and education services in order to promote sexual health and well being and reduce unintended pregnancies.

Public Health Programs

• Public Health Programs include immunizations, well child care, WIC services and screenings for lead and tuberculosis.

Additional Features

In an effort to meet the cultural and linguistic needs of patients, Spanish interpreters are available.
