The Partnership has learned to be creative and innovative to meet the urgent and ongoing needs of our community through collaboration. Through our sub-committees (Youth, Legislative/Marketing, and Alcohol, Tobacco & Other Drugs Task Force), we have created strategies to address socio-economic and health disparities in Whiteside County.

Whiteside County Healthier Communities Partnership meetings are open to any community member with an interest in keeping Whiteside County safe and healthy. Meetings are at 11 a.m. the second Wednesday of every month at the YWCA of the Sauk Valley, 112 First Ave., Sterling, Ill.

For more information, call Beth Fiorini, Whiteside County Health Department, at (815) 626-2230, or Joan Hermes, CGH Health Foundation, at (815) 625-0400.
