While it is very important to get your seasonal flu shot, it is even more important to get vaccinated during a pandemic. In 2009, hundreds of people were hospitalized and two healthy men died from H1N1 complications in Whiteside County. In both cases, the two
men did not have any chronic illnesses and were relatively healthy.

Remember to get your flu shot and get vaccinated during a Pandemic to protect yourself, your family, friends, coworkers, people you worship with, those you volunteer with.
