Whiteside County Health Department Drive-Up No Appointment Necessary SHIELD Testing

February 25, 2021 – Beginning next week, no appointment will be needed for COVID-19 testing through the Whiteside County Health Department Community Based Drive-Up Testing Site. Individuals seeking testing will simply be able to drive-up to the tent during testing hours to be tested. A SHIELD IL account will still be required to view results. We hope this change will help individuals more easily access testing as soon as they develop symptoms and keep cases low by identifying positives early.

The Whiteside County Health Department will also be expanding testing hours on Thursdays to offer additional evening opportunities for testing. The testing site is closed daily for a meal break from 1:00pm to 1:45pm. Please see the schedule below.

WCHD Testing Schedule (Closed Daily from 1:00pm to 1:45pm)

Monday: 8:30am to 3:30pm
Tuesday: 8:30am to 5:30pm
Wednesday: 8:30am to 3:30pm
Thursday: 8:30am to 5:30pm
Friday: 8:30am to 1:00pm
